Long day.

Knowing that I am leaving at 5 PM to go camping makes for a very long day of work. Here I sit, at my desk, watching the clock crawl. I reserved a campsite, and hopefully the rangers are being vigilant in preserving it for me; however I'll feel a lot better when the tent is safely pitched, and all the other Labor Day travellers are barred from the site by my very own silly red minivan.

Happily the ranger claims that the site is reserved and everything is okay, and they will be there until 11 watching things like hawks. Hopefully that means we're all set.

Of course, since it's the day before a holiday weekend, no one is at work. Nothing is going on at all, and there's basically nothing for me to do; which all adds up to an even LONGER day.

On top of all of that, I don't get a lunch break, because I'm trying to get out of here early, to beat some of the traffic.

Unfortunately, my brain isn't capable of much at the moment other than generating random packing lists and wishing it had a good book to read, so I guess I won't get into trying to write too much. See you Wednesday!
