Office cleaning day

Today is office cleaning day. My coworkers and I are all turned out in our grubbies (which at MPHI means nice jeans and t-shirts, no holes) and plan to rifle through all our storage space. The idea is to throw out the old to make room for the new. I think it's going to take pretty much all day... the good news is that anything marked 'trash' at the end of the day is fair game for employees to take home. So I might get an old laserjet out of the deal. Maybe even an old PC. We'll see. Any PC is better than no PC, which is what I currently have at home.

I've been looking forward to today all week. After work Forest and I are going swimming, then we're picking up a picnic to go out to the park and eat, then watch Taming of the Shrew. It will be nice to be out there again, and it looks as though the weather plans to cooperate. We've both been in the mood to cuddle, and haven't been on a date in a long time, so this will be nice for us.

Then tomorrow we're going to head for my dad's lake, there to be tortured on his boat. I don't think Forest has ever been waterskiing or tubing, so this should be a nice adventure for him. (Read: he has no idea what he's getting into.) I am starting to think this is my dad's way of testing the men in my life!

Seriously, though, we'll have a good time. My grandma and Suzi will be there, as well as Karen and Jim, and we will probably cook out, swim, and lounge around in the sand, too. My kind of Saturday.
