Oh my GOD!!!! This doesn't happen to me. I am completely in a panic right now, and for good reason, I think. Last night I took home a nice laptop, belonging to my company, and used by my bosses boss most of the time. I was working on fixing a software conflict on it. No big deal. I fixed it. Then I decided to leave it out and plugged in to charge up the battery.

Today when I go to pack it up, it is *wet*. Not just a little wet, but a LOT wet. I unplugged it, and licked it, and was releived to discover that it was just water for a split second, thinking "Oh. It's only water."

THEN I realized that this was WATER on a LAPTOP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cursed a lot and dried off the outside, and prayed that it wouldn't have gotten into the case... but of course it did. The battery compartment is soaked, and there is water running out of the speakers, and and and...

AUGH! I think I'm taking it in to the computer store TONIGHT and have them dry it out and pray like crazy that it isn't destroyed! I don't even know what happened to it. Kirstin and my roommate will both be tortured for this. I can't believe it.
