The Shadow in the Distance
*
to look into the distance
to peer into my soul
to see the shadowed memories
and search the shallow hole
the night finds total comfort
inside my empty head
it seams to find some refuge
flying on the thoughts of dead
and only sadness left behind
from strifes engulfing flame
the only sorrow in my head
that i have yet to tame
Although the clouds rain on me
and wash my body clean
i keep in mind the hate i see
and things said i didn’t mean
But in the end my thoughts now useless
are put upon a shelf
to die inside and be forgotten
so much like myself

oh liquid holding me hostage
oh painful memories
please leave me to die alone
i’m stuck inside a vile sea
the waves around me crimson
under thier crowns of fire
and above me i am trapped
by my own selfish desire
but i stay here unmoving
seemingly dead to the eye
if i must stay here longer
i’m sure inside i’ll die

Hidden

I’m stuck inside a hollow box
lost inside my plight
fire’s last dieing embers
cast above me earie light
and i can’t help but wonder
if the day shows from the night
i’m lost within my feelings
I know I’ve lost the fight

Consumed
*
consumed with distilled sadness
my misery of mine
and it all seams so tragic
I’m lost within the sign
so trapped inside the darkness
that I can not see past
it seems my only magic
is making lost time last

I was hoping for an answer maybe for a helping soul
somehow i became helpless drowning in the shallow hole
the torrid anger taunts me o things i can’t explain
my illusion turns nonfiction and then fact becomes the pain
the sky insults the raindrops as they burn predestined skin
and in return the sky will die the wicked web we spin
nievity is cautioned only by the paranoid
but keep in mind with one fell strike your dreams can be destroid
