Blooded Sea

My universe is in a jar
my screams taunt only me
my love my life my hope by far
travels through the blooded sea
my dreams and aspirations
wrapped in glass that covers me
the lies and exaggerations
slowly sail the blooded sea
and as i scream in silence
through the holes in the jarlid
i prey someone to hear my fears
and then that someone did
no longer do the stars haunt me
while below sits the blooded sea
but someone else is in the jar
only hope survives by far

the pain i feel blinds my soul
my heart it turns pitch black
and all the things that i feel

all the spaces left behind
may never be filled

i know my soul can not be killed
