A few minutes later Brian came downstairs. He gave me a cold look and stepped in front of me.
"Listen Belle, the only way I can have full custody of my son and make him legitimate is by marrying you, and I intend to do that," I looked at him in disbelief.
"Are you asking me to marry you?" I asked.
"No, I'm telling you, you are going to," he snapped.
"No, I refuse to marry you, I hate you!"
"Don't you want to keep Jakob, you have no money and no shelter, the courts would give him to me faster than you can say "I do" he said looking straight at me with anger in his eyes.
"Don't you dare threaten to take him away from me, he's the only thing I have!"
"When do you want to be married?" He asked simply.
"I told you, I'm not marrying you,"
"I'm not kidding Belle, I will take him from you," I looked at him. He was dead serious.
"All right, Brian,"
"We have to have the wedding soon, do you want to hire someone to do it?" he asked.
"I'll plan my own wedding," I snapped.
"Can you have it ready in three weeks?" He asked.
"Probably"
There was something in his eyes, something I couldn't place, and something he was trying very hard to hide, but a little showed. He sat down on the sofa and told me to sit next to him so we could plan the basic stuff. I grabbed a laptop he had given me.
"Where do you want the wedding?" He asked.
"Here, I guess, all our family is here," He nodded.
"Best man?"
"My brother"
"The groom men?"
"The guys"
"What guys?"
"Nick, Kevin, A.J., and Howie" I typed in their names and then my bridesmaids.
"Of course Jakob will be the ring bearer." I said. Brian nodded smiling.
"Oh and my cousins will make adorable flower girls."
"And we can get married at the church your family goes to, it's so pretty!" Wait a minute my mind screamed to me. Why are you so excited? You don't want to marry him, you hate him, and he's forcing you into this. But you love him, and your marrying the man you love. But he doesn't love you.
