(A.J.'s POV)
"I can't believe she came back," I told Howie, Nick, Kev, and B-Rok.
"What did she want?" Kev asked.
"Can you believe she wanted to be in her life from now on, I mean she actually had the audacity to show up, after 7 years!"
"Well what did you tell her?" Brian asked.
"I told her hell no she wasn't going to be in her life,"
"And she accepted?" "She had no choice, I have absolute sole custody of my baby girl,"
"You mean you're not going to ever let Ajah meet her, not even not as her mother?" Nick asked.
"Ajah's not dumb, I told you, they look so much alike, and a complete stranger could tell just by looking at the two that they were very much related."
"She thinks her mother is dead doesn't she?" Howie questioned.
"Yeah, I told her that a couple of years ago,"
"But that feeling came back when I was around her, I can't afford to like her again, not in the situation we're in," I said.
"You like her?" Nick asked sounding amazed.
"No…I don't see how I could, I hate her for what she did to Ajah, it's just she still gets to me somehow,"
"No Ajah, I mean it, she looked exactly like you,"
"Lee, you don't think it's my mother or anything do you?"
"Well…"
"Leela, she's not my Mom, she died when I was born remember?"
"Yeah, but she might be an Angel or something." Ajah rolled her eyes.
"Where is she?"
"Umm…I don't know exactly…"
"You mean you bribed me to lie to my father, sneak out the house, make up that stupid story the bus driver, and you don't even know where the woman is?"
"Well, she was a pediatrician,"
"How do you know?" "She was wearing a nametag, her name was Mackenzie or something like that, it had Pedia on her name tag,"
"Come on, the kids floor is on the 4th floor." They took the elevator up.
"Well do you see her?" Ajah asked as they got out the elevator.
"Umm…." Their eyes scanned the halls.
"I can't believe this, Leela you-"
"There she is,"
"What, Where?"
"There…by the last room on the left," Ajah quickly turned to look in the direction her friend was pointing.
"Oh My God Lee, you were right."
