I'll start by saying that every poem or quotation I've ever written was inspired by what I believe to be the greatest of all inspirations... Love. Many of the poems you will find here were written for my one and only True Love, Courtney. Though love may be painful at times, the blissful pleasure of love would not be nearly so powerful were it not for the pain it can also bring to reflect upon. It is the pain that gives the pleasure its power and potency, without it, love would not be nearly so appealing and intriguing. Love truly does conquer all, and is the most powerful force known to man. This collection is dedicated to love and the joy it brings, as well as the pain... for pain makes everything pleasant so much more precious... And I, personally, have known both sides of love: both the most intense pleasure and agonizing pain. In life, happiness can be found by simply accepting that love may not always be a part of your life, but it will always be in your heart. And thought love may come and go, eternally ebbing and flowing as the ocean tides, it will always be there, waiting, when you need it the most. This site is also dedicated to the most wonderful person I have ever had the privilege of knowing, Courtney. She has brought more joy, love and happiness into my life than I had ever thought possible. Thank you Courtney, for all you are and all I have become because of you. You are not only my life-long love and best friend, but an inspiration more profound than any I have ever known or imagined.
