One of the largest supermarkets in Cebu is SM. It is well worth a visit. It's the largest shopping mall in the city, has four entrances and free car parking for well over 1000 cars.

It houses all of your shopping needs under one roof. You can buy all your food, clothing, electrical goods, hardware, computer bits and pieces, all at a very reasonable cost.

The staff are the friendliest people that you will ever meet. There are at least four staff to every one customer in each store and they are very patient. They will bring you as much stock as you want to look at and even if you do not buy anything they are not unhappy, as they are there to serve you, the customer, unlike some of the shops in our own countries.

You will also find a very large dining area which will hold up to 1000 people , and the food on offer is outstanding! You will find the local foods, Oriental foods, American foods, English foods and of course all of the fast food shops that you would find in any major city anywhere in the world. All of the foods are excellent value for money and you will not have to break the bank to eat there! A typical meal for three people is about P 200 pesos. This also includes a soft drink or tea / coffee.

Do have a look round, otherwise you will not know what you are missing. I would say that to have a look at all the services available, it would take you about one or two hours, dependent on if you are alown or with your pen-friend.
