Traveling
Circus Freaks is a side project of Hunter McKee, the bass player from the band
Nitrogen McKee and the Corner Jazz. In TCF, McKee is the only member and plays
keyboards and sings. TCF allows McKee to sing songs that NMATCJ could not sing;
songs of love, of the human condition, and of pretty much anything the hard-rocking
Nitrogen passes on. This is not to say that the latter is not introspective,
because that is what they are known for, introspective lyrics, and an extremely
experimental instrumental side. I suppose one could say, if one were so inclined,
that TCF is the sensitive side of Hunter McKee. Yeah, let's just go with that.
