My name is Sherinda Robinson and I am a 28-year old mother of a nine month old baby girl, name Lille.
I am employed as an Assistant Servicing Manager in the Insurance Deparatment at CapMark Services.
CapMark is one of the leading servicers in the field of commercial real estate. We are facing many
challenges in my department, as the field of insurance continues to change following the events of 9/11.
I earned my Bachelor's degree from Carleton College in Northfield, MN. I majored in American Studies
which was interdisciplinary. My two areas of focus were English and History. I enjoyed the personal
touch that I received at a small liberal arts school of 1800 students. When I decided to pursue my
Master's, I did not want to become lost in the shuffle of a large learning institution. I have been
enrolled with the University of Phoenix since February of last year and have throughly enjoyed my online
experience.
The asynchronous learning environment has allowed me to learn in a manner that is most suitable to my lifestyle.
I was able to go through a pregnancy and the birth of my daughter while only having to miss one class.
I am in the process of planning a wedding for April 19th so I will be attending class while on my honeymoon.
As we embark on a new journey, I look forward to working with all of you during this class.
