Sales Presentation
- Purpose is to demonstrate your ability to organize and present a sales presentation, including interaction with a buyer
- You will assume the role of a sales representative making a presentation to a potential buyer. Prior to the presentation, you may practice the sales presentation with the student you choose to act as your buyer.
- You need to "set the stage" for your selling situation for the class and may "sell" any item which can be sold to a company or retail customer.
- You will furnish your own materials including an actual product or a picture of a product. You may also use an audio or visual aide in your presentation (poster, video, web site, etc.)
- Your selling skit should include all steps of a sale: approach, identifying the needs, presentation, handling objections, closing, and then tell the class how you would do a follow-up.
- Before starting the presentation, give me a typed product information sheet which should include the name of your product, the normal use of the product, what it is made of, its price - if that information is available, a list of features and benefits resulting from the use of the product (minimum of five), and a list of objections the customer could have about the product/price and your answer to overcome them (minimum of five)
