8/13/03     We Sucked Anyway...

Hello everyone! Yes it's true... the band that never was actually will never be. A few weeks ago, I met up with Mike and we spoke briefly about the band. Basically, I asked if The Wasted Years were still a band. He replied, "They never were." Eh... makes perfect sense. I made this website, talked us up to people, promised mp3s, and other things when in truth, all we did was sit on our lazy asses and play counter strike.

Now, a year after I moved, me and Mike have almost completely lost touch. Iiamn, as usual, is in his own world, but I see him every week. We don't speak about playing together, though. Whenever we have spoken about seriously, the next day he wants to be a racecar driver or a marine biologist. I'm still playing everyday in my room, but what else is new. If I have to do it myself then I guess I will.

By the way, excuse me if I sound overly depressed. I'm in one of those phases when all I do is listen to Morrissey, The Cure, and Ours. You can ask my girlfriend... I haven't been much fun to be around lately. I'll lighten things up after I finish tying this noose... I'm joking.

Mike's been doing some really cool stuff lately. I'll post that in the band page later. I'm lazy and I want to stop typing now.
