Web Comics (7 - more coming soon):

One of my absolute favorite web-comics.  How can it not be?  And it weren't for the fact that I find Mikhael and Harley's relationship unique, surprisingly realistic, and funnier than anything I've read in a good long while, the sheer humor of Cyanide's bizarre and complicated relationship with Skids would drag me in.  As it stands, both have.  I would also like to take this opportunity to note I hate, loathe, despise, and wish nasty thing upon Tybalt.  Be forewarned that this series is incredibly addictive.

Sluggy Freelance  This one has been a fave for close to three years now.  And though I do love and admire BmB, I have to admit - shamefully - to loving Sluggy just a bit more.  It's the darn razor-wielding mini-lop, for cripes' sake!  I didn't have a choice!  But, anyway, if you don't find that appealing, the zany craziness of it ought to be.  This is as addictive as BmB, if not more.

Kevin and Kell  My absolute favorite, hands-down, close the polls favorite on-line comic.  Kevin and Kell are a charismatic and hilarious couple, with a slight problem: Kevin happens to be a rabbit, whilst Kell, his beloved wife, is a wolf, with a son (Rudy) determined to be a respectable predator.  He's disgruntled (less so now) with his new family, which also includes Kevin's adopted hedgehog daughter Lisnefarne and his half-sister Coney.  Visit - this - place.

Penny Arcade  It's in Playstation Magazine, it mocks the gaming industry but idolizes, and shows an addictively funny world into the mind of gamers.  I admire these people with the third of my brain still working. Plus the Gabe engagement comic - way back in the archives - somehow manages to be simultaneously hilarious and sweet.

Keenspace  Free comic webhosting!  Enough has been said.  I wait for the day I shall be informed I am - *longing sigh* - Keen-worthy.

Words will not convey how much I recommend this site.  This is the sort of thing I could only hope to achieve.  A realistic and relatable heroine (Chel is the every-girl, but is also wholly her own woman), a delectable alien (Lexx looks somewhat like X-Men Evolution's version of Kurt Wagner, but only if you happen to be me at three in the morning), and Oddly Addictive Extraterrestial Politics.  Add in the completely innovative style of telling the story (a comic panel and a juicy narrative, all at once!) and the fact that it's still going strong - and that Lexx is in love with Chel, but, being a typical male (with an atypical past), can't tell if she feels the same - are all bonuses.  This exceeds favorites.  By far, all - by far.

Protection  Because it's run by ShayCaron - a funny, witty, and non-chauvinistic guy.  Shocking, isn't it?  He also writes incredibly good fanfiction and deserves massive praise.  Oo!  Oo!  And his is done on the computer, too!  ^^  Be aware that the Grand Resurrection of Glass Shards (in the form of a comedic space opera) will probably be done on the computer; I'm only taking this opportunity to warn you.  Similar...uh, narrative thought.  Yeah.  Anyway, visit this place.

Writings (7 - mostly Harry Potter):

Right, well, FanFiction.net has been getting a great deal of crap as of late (mostly because of its recent no NC-17 policy, which is a 50-50 thing - pornographic fanfic in children's sections [Barney, Blue's Clues, etc.] are probably moronic, but ones done tastefully and with a brain [several Wolverine/Storm fics, Slayers, etc.] shouldn't be repealed), but I'll stay staunchly by it.  Yes, a great deal of the fics are horrible - mine, notably - but where else is it so easy to review a fic or find out what people think?  And, besides, if I hadn't registered here way back in '00, I would never have gotten to the decent quality of writing I'm at right now.  So I'm nostalgic.

The original fiction sister-site to FanFiction.net.  Relatively good and, actually, the 'ew, I can't believe I read that' level is much lower.  I love the design for the site, too; it's aesthetically pleasing and elegantly simplistic.  Lovely, isn't it?

The Sugar Quill  They support Ron/Hermione!  And, after all, if anyone can point out any solid evidence that, no, Hermione will not end up with Ron (or vice versa) but instead with Harry/Draco/Snape/any other Weasley/Dumbledore/Sirius/etc., I'll laugh cruelly at you.  Erm.  With that aside, this is really one of my favorite Harry Potter archives: it's easily navigated, fun, and has tons of excellent fics for your perusal.  I'm planning to send an RW/HG fic there, myself, once I get around to it.

This place can be confusing as all get out to navigate, but it's got a gorgeous layout (Wood!  Draco!  Cho!  Harry!  Ginny!) and has inspired me to get off my bum and start working on a romantic Cho/Wood tale.  Because I love Scots and Wood looks so Scottish-ly attractive.  Other than that, I do find it not quite as fun as The Sugar Quill, but it's still a delight (and the main page's art!  the art!  the art!).

Magical Theory  My absolute favorite Harry Potter fanfiction site, even more than my beloved Sugar Quill.  Be warned, though, this is a strict 'shipper fansite, in that all the fanfics center around one specific coupling: Draco Malfoy and Ginny Weasley.  Though I don't agree with the grand characterization of Ginny as a kickass, take names, wholly independent and fiery gal (which she is, to a degree, but not the smoldering, angry-at-being-over-sheltered girl many portray her), it's still marvelous fun.  And besides, even though the books (nor the movies) don't give much to support this couple, it has it's own delicious appeal.

Inkstained  Another favorite Harry Potter site, this is a 'shipper site, as well, focusing on - ooh, prepare yourself! - Tom Riddle/Ginny Weasley.  It wasn't until quite recently that I even considered this coupling (and my own fanfic, Sinister - preparing to post on ff.net, will undoubtedly suck), but it's slyly entrancing.  Gin-n-Tonic indeed.  Lovely design (even if the fact that so many sites use movie pictures is marginally irritating to a stubborn, old-fashioned teen like me).

Tainted Love  Read the fanfiction!  It's, ah, so beautiful.  *dreamy eyes*  Oh, right!  Tom/Ginny site with a dark design and an excellent, slightly creepy topper.  "It's like having a friend I can carry around in my pocket..."  As my site is going to be a PG site until the comics start coming up, I'm going to forego the innuendo I could pop in this follow-up sentence.  I love the fanfiction.  (Is it just me or do Tom/Ginny fanfics automatically come with a seductiveness of their own?  Quite different than the delightful warmth of Ron/Hermione.)

Others (4):

The gal who runs this place - spacer-in-training - is fun, personable, and an excellent gal to be reviewed by.  ^^  Plus, this site is hilarious - who knew a Jim plushie could do so much?  Be sure to check out her fanart, it is simply gorgeous.  I mean - gorgeous.  Worthy of a Southern accent and a tipped glass.

Do not trifle here, mortal!  Read her absolutely beautiful Kurt/Kitty fanfics and weep at the beauty!

Other than the fact that her art is freejin' gorgeous?  The Scott/Rogue pic deserves luvin'.  Lord, I love Scott/Rogue.  If you need me, I'll be guiltily writing on my two work-in-progress Scott/Rogue fics...

Team Bonet's Treasure Planet shrine.  Visit.  Gape.  Read.  Gaze.  Faint.  Visit again.  Love it as much as I do.  ^^  This is a drop-dead lurvely site, but then again, this is Team Bonet we're talking about (main site is at: http://www.geocities.com/gedojudea).

More coming soon!...maybe.
