Frequently Asked Questions
Cold Chain Manager
| Downloading |
| Q. When should I connect
a TempTale monitor to the Interface Plus? |
| A. The download screen will prompt a ready
sign indicating a monitor can be connected (TT3) or placed in
the Interface cradle (TT4) for downloading. |
| Q. When I attempt to download
a monitor, the Start button can not be selected. |
| A. One of the ActiveX Controls is not
installed on your PC correctly. Contact Technical Services (800-843-8367)
for installation assistance. An ActiveX Control is a component
that Sensitech uses to facilitate the downloading of a TempTale
monitor and displaying the graph view of the data. ActiveX is
a Microsoft technology. |
| Q. I cannot download a monitor. |
| A. Verify that you can download other
TempTales monitors. If you can, the monitor should be evaluated
by our Technical Services group. If you cannot download other
TempTale monitors, log out of CCM, close Internet Explorer and
start again. If still unsuccessful, contact Technical Services
(800-843-8367). |
| Q. I have downloaded one
monitor into the database, how do I download additional monitors
associated with the same shipment? |
|
| A. Clicking on Download
in the menu bar and selecting Download TempTale
will redirect you to the download screen where additional monitors
can be downloaded. |
| Q. I tried downloading monitors
other than the TT3, TT4, and Dry Ice Monitors, but no data is
being downloaded. |
| A. Currently, CCM does not support any
monitors other than Sensitechs TT3 2K, TT4, and Dry Ice
Monitors. CCM does not support 16K monitors. TT3 16K will be
supported in CCM Release 5. |
| Q. I downloaded a monitor,
but cannot see the graph. |
| A. There are two ActiveX Controls that
need to be installed on your PC in order to fully operate CCM.
If you cannot see the graph, one of these ActiveX controls has
not been installed correctly. Contact Technical Services (800-843-8367)
for installation assistance. |
| Q. I downloaded a monitor,
but there is no shipment information associated with it. |
|
A. If the TempTale Trip Number was entered incorrectly
when the shipment was added, the temperature data will not
link up with the shipment information.
|
| Adding a Shipment |
|
| Q. The TempTale 3 monitor
has two different numbers on it. Which one should I enter into
the system? |
|
|
A. The TempTale 3 monitor has two numbers the Trip
Number (7 digits) and a Serial Number (10 digits). The Trip
Number should always be used when entering in shipment information.
|
| Q. After I added the shipment
information, the application redirected me to the Login Page. |
| A. A Security Feature of CCM will automatically
end a session after 15 minutes of inactivity. Log back into
CCM and start again. The information was not saved, unless you
clicked Next after adding in shipment information. |
| Q. Can I edit information
that was previously entered? |
| A. No. Once the shipment has been saved,
information cannot be edited or deleted. Please verify that
all information is entered correctly prior to saving the data.
Editing information will be available in Cold Chain Manager
Release 5.0 |
| Q. Can one monitor be associated
with more than one shipment? |
| A. No. TempTale monitors can only be associated
with one shipment |
| Q. If I downloaded a monitor
that is already in the database, will the existing data be overwritten? |
| A. No. If data for a monitor already exists
in the database, you will view the existing data when the download
is complete. |
| Advanced Searching |
|
| Q. I tried to
search for a monitor, but was unable to locate it. |
|
| A. If searching by Search
by TempTale Number be sure that the correct number was
entered. If searching by Advanced Criteria be sure
that the appropriate dropdown boxes were selected and search
again. |
| Q. I tried creating a query
in the Advanced Search Criteria page, but received
the message Search Returned No Records - Please Check
Entries |
| A. The query you created did not meet
any of the records in the database or the criteria could be
too refined. Try broadening your query and search again. |
