"I can't get enough calculus.  Just when you think you've had enough, yet another derivative or integral catches your eye.  Moreover, they are so damn fun to do."
-Minister of Foreign Affairs
Robert D. Morgan (Ph.D.)

Rob was born August 21, 1984, in Hazel Crest, Illinois to parents Sheila and Dale Morgan. Rob spent the first two years of his life in Illinois. At the age of two, he moved to where he resides now-Valparaiso, IN.
Rob attended elementary school at Jackson Elementary. He also attended middle school at LMS.
Rob grew up with two best friends. Russell Ratcliff and Adam Blazak. Rob would spend many a day with them. Russell was Rob’s counter-part. They seemed to know everything about each other, and they kept no secrets.
Rob never has seemed to have many problems with school. He excelled in elementary school, although, which child didn't. Middle school also presented no problem. There he excelled in math mostly, and did rather well in all his other classes.
In the 8th grade, Rob was asked to take an Algebra 1 class at the high school. Rob finally caught his lunch. However, he didn't give up. This shows that Rob has a great deal of stick-to-it-ivness. He passed that class and moved on to the next level.
Rob has not taken his high school career lightly. He has taken many a tough class. Rob has participated in many clubs such as: German, Quiz Bowl, and Academic Decathlon. He has also been a news writer on the high school newspaper, The Sandscript, for 3 years.
Recently, Rob has been accepted to the IU honors program for foreign language. He will be traveling to Germany over the summer to take part in a deep study of the language and culture. Rob will spend seven weeks in Germany, only being allowed to speak German. There he will be staying with a host family, and he will be attending school with other students from around Indiana. Rob has shown a deep interest in German from the get-go.
After high school Rob plans to attend college at Purdue University. He also plans to travel to Ball State to visit a special friend. At Purdue, Rob plans on majoring in both German and Chemical Engineering. After college, Vermont will be his home…where he plans on changing their democratic views.
