"This has been on my mind since
I first got e-mails during my sophomore campaign for Class President that
originated in VHS and other schools in the area. Unfortunately I still
don't know what to think one and a half years later."
-Class Representative
Kevin Tracy in September 2001
"It's been a while since we had a new
poll, but this is one that effects what happens on the staff. I have
talked to them about this and we do have two candidates that have expressed
interest in the position of Minister of Valpo Relations. They are Amanda
Loker (Senior at VHS and former CHS student), whom expressed interest a
while ago and may have slightly lost interest, and Joy Bowker (Minister
Morgan's girlfriend and Senior at VHS) who brought it up today.
There are pro's and con's to each. For one, I talk to Joy a lot
more than Amanda, on the other hand however, Amanda is better known by
most students in our school. The staff is in a deadlock too between having
one and not having one and then those who want a Minister in this field
are split between Joy and Amanda.
That's why the poll for a while is going to ask you "should there be
a Minister of Valpo Affairs?" The staff and I will then pick who
it is if you tell me I should have a Minister of Valpo Relations.
It is important to remember that this Minister, whichever candidate
she may be if chosen, will not effect how I feel about CHS and I will continue
to put votes in for the Senior CHS Class. The new Minister will only
help me reach out to VHS and maybe get some good ideas from their students.
So here is your poll, feel free to scroll down and leave comments for
me to read."
