Well what do you know? It just so happens it's time for another Ortiz's Opinions. So I guess it's time to get this party started by getting the bitchin' out of the way. I was watching NWA TNA last week a bunch of great matches... Amazing Red and EZ money keepin it real like a hundred dollar bill! (not that they were in a match together but still) So it comes time for a match for the NWA world title, It was between Jeff Jarret and Ron "the truth" Killings, it was an alright match. Jeff Jarret won on account of a run in by "Mr. Wrestling " all was right with the world. Until, Mr. Wrestling 3 revealed himself... to be none other than Vince Russo. ARGHHHH!!! That guy sucks!!! They picked him up like he was the shit? The same guy that marked the beginning of the downfall of WWE. The same guy who marked the downfall of WCW. Screw that! The same guy who came up with the corporate ministry!! One of my problems with him showing up is that, chances are he's writing for them, which means they are going for more story. Which first of is something they shouldn't do (they should stick to focusing on wrestling) and secondly, they are having Vince Russo write. Bleh!! Enough on that Russo sucks you all get the point.
Now on to the best EHW event I've ever seen.. WHIPLASH!! Wow, talk about impressive. It opened with a boss ladder match between Stoner Steve, Snake, Alex Leyendo, and Lawson. In the end Snake won by reaching for the heaven and getting the contract! (contract to go to the next round of the tourney) Next up was Lil Billy versus Justin Sane, great match lot of luchie stuff.. Sane wins and goes to next round to take Snake on. Next up was Rush vs. Da Champ, in an I quit match, it was an alright match... Champ won by making the Rush say I quit. Then was a match set up by that big pimp of a commisioner, me Tristan Ortz... (I do it for the fans I guess). It was a trunk match in which "Crazy" Kenny Summers took on Buzzy, Kenny wins by throwing Buzzy in his trunk and driving off.. he advances to the next round to face Da Champ. Next up was a great great match in which my boy Snake.. kicked the hell out of Justin Sane in a point system tables match ... lets just say that snake won 8 to 7 by getting the 5 point table and putting Juston Sane through it, some would say that Justin Sane was distracted by the special guest referee, but since it was me I won't say he was. Now onto a match that will become and instant classic, a match between Da Champ and "Crazy" Kenny Summers, it was an epic battle but in the end it went like so. Buzzy shows up from out of Kenny's trunk and hits Kenny with the car and Champ tries to pin him but Kenny's never say die attitude helped him kick out and put Buzzy out of commision and gets in his car and hits Champ with it (the car) for the 1, 2, 3! Now onto the triumphant climax of the event!!!. The 3 man cage match in which Snake and Kenny made it to by beating their opponents and Smooth as Satin Dave Cattin made it to by getting a double buy. This match was one of the best cage matches I've ever seen, they were everywhere they where on the cage on the roof in the ring out the ring. They did it all. (when you can, buy the fn tape) After all that happened the victor was Kenny when he gave a crazy slam to both Snake and Cattin!
So in summation I would like to congratulate all te EHW guys on a great show. It sucks that there may not be another show for a while, but when the new EHW season begins I can ensure you that it will be better than ever. More cages more chairs. (commisioner promise on the chairs one) More everything for the EHW fans so show up and show support. Oh and of course don't forget to read the greatest column evah!! Ortiz's Opinion's. Sabu loves you! So praise him everyday!
