Background:
Tristan was born into an upper-middle-class family in New
Jersey. He is the youngest
of three boys. When he was growing up his father didn't want much to do
with
him because he
was the youngest, and his father was busy with his older brother Frank.
He
and Nathan would be
stuck at home with their mother. That was alright by him, he and Nathan
had
all sorts of fun,
until Nathan turned 11 and started Junior high...suddenly he was "too
cool"
for his younger brother.
He still had his mom. He was close to her.
Their family was the type
that
went to church on Sundays.
Every other day during the week things seemed fine on the outside, but
on
the inside their home
was horrible. His dad would get drunk after a hard day's work and yell
and
scream and sometimes
hit his mother, he thought this was normal, he thought all fathers did
this.
When he was 11 he
went to sleep over a friend's for the first time. He noticed how well
their
parents got along. He
learned in school about alcoholism, and he discovered his father was an
alcoholic. He began to
detest his father. When he brought it to his mother's attention, and
she
acted as if it was normal,
as if it didn't bother her...as if everything was okay, he felt sorry
for
her.
When his father began
severely beating her, and she still refused to accept there was a
problem,
he only pitied her. He
realized how hypocritical people were, and it made him sick. He hated
how
people thought, that
because they believed in God they could get away with everything, as
long as
they went to church
on Sunday, everything was okay. He decided he was against it, he was
against
everything. He had
always been very unique. Some would call him a "punk", but he doesn't
like
labels.
He attends Dumont,
There he studies Religion and Music mostly. He studies religion because
he
figures if he's going to
disagree with it and discuss with religious people how it isn't real,
he
might as well know what he's
talking about. He's into music because he has always had a strong
appreciation
for it. Sometimes it
was him and his guitar against the world. He also plays the drums.
He's
in
his senior year at Dumont,
and he has the same roomate he's had for 4 years, his best friend and
Tyson. Tyson is an African-
American, who jokes calling Tristan a "punk ass white boy". It's the
only
person he feels as if he can
trust.
Tristan challenges people's beliefs, and he's very opinionated.
He's
never had a real girlfriend
because he can't seem to find anyone he likes all that much. His
parents and
his brothers think he's
gay, actually, alot of people do. He isn't, but he just loves getting
his
family in a wreck about it,
because he has no problem with it, he finds it amusing that people can
be so
ignorant. He loves his
nephew, because his nephew reminds him so much of himself.
Special Abilities: He can definetely make people think twice about what
they
believe in, a really talented
musician, and shocks people with the fact that he is actually smart.
