Background:
Born to a single mother (Who he refers to as bitch or whore), he doesn't know who
his father is, and frankly couldn't care. Though his mother has more than enough
to say about him, but Matt isn't sure how much he can believe on that front.
He was a poor student, barely graduating, and only on his basketball skills did his
teachers cut him any slack whatsoever. Slack, that he of course took full
advantage of. He hated Detroit, and when Dumont offered him a scholarship for
basketball (not bad for a short white guy), and knowing Dumont was in Maine, he
jumped on it.
He has a little brother he likes well enough, and of course there is Lisa. Who
may or may not be his, because his girlfriend at the time, Terri, really was a slut.
He's a sophomore, and a "victim" of jock ride, in that teachers let him maintain eligibility with grades because of his skills.
