Background:
His parents died when he was young. He lived on his own and put himself through
college, and played for the Knicks in the NBA for ten years until his knees
gave out for competitive basketball. He married and fathered a son, his wife
and son were cruelly taken from him in a car crash in front of his eys when
his son was just five years old. He was 38.
Since then he's lived on his own, earning a teaching degree and coming to Dumont
to train the next generation of basketball players. He keeps his players in line
while at the same time attempting to fill the father figure gap some of them have. He also does recruitment for Dumont, and in fact recruited Matt Bonsall.
