The Donatello Lobby
Donato
di Niccolo di Betto Bardi, called Donatello by his friends, is considered
one of the greatest sculptors of Renaissance Florence, a master of both
marble and bronze. The Club Donatello logo is the winged Lion of St. Mark,
the symbol of Venice. As you might suspect, therefore, the northern
Italian ambiance of the Club owes its inspiration to the
artist and his native Tuscany and to the region of Friuli-Venetia Giulia. Your
first impression of the Club Donatello will be the elegant lobby, wrapped
in imported Italian marbles and furnishings. The
friendly welcome you receive from the attentive,
professionally trained staff is also in tune with the classical Italian tradition.
