Thanks to two of our directors we received $50,000 from the Build Indiana State Lottery Fund through our state representative Vern Tincher. We surfed around the internet and found a pumper which suited our needs very well. We contacted Webbs Mill Fire Department in Pine City, NY who owned the truck and placed a sealed bid on the truck. The bid was accepted and the truck along with 4 scba's and a

free standing dump tank found a new home in Patricksburg Indiana. Arrangements were made to pick up the truck and four firemen made the trip to New York to bring home our newest truck.

After returning home with the truck it was lettered and striped to represent the Patricksburg Community Volunteer Fire Department. The truck is a 1986 GMC Topkick with a 3208 Caterpillar diesel engine with a 4 speed Allison automatic transmission. The chassis is fitted with a 1987 pump body and 1250 gpm FMC pump and carries 1000 gallons of water.

This is our oldest tanker. It was built by volunteers at our fire department. It's a 1989 International 4900 series which carries 1800 gallons of water. This vehicle was purchased as a straight truck and modified to fit our needs and replaced a 1965 Chevy.

This is our newest tanker. It's a 1991 International 4900 series which carries over 2000 gallons of water. This truck was also purchased as a straight truck and was fitted with a flatbed and an agricultural tank to carry water. It was painted to match our current pumper. In this picture the truck was incomplete but was soon finished out with compartments for equipment under the bed. This tanker replaced a 1969 Ford fuel truck.

Our first response/medical truck was purchased in the fall of 2001. It's a 1991 Chevy S-10 Blazer. This vehicle was fitted with all the lights and equipment necessary to be used as a BLS non-transport unit as specified by the state of Indiana. It's used in conjunction with and to assist the county EMS service on medical emergency runs. as well as its role as command vehicle.
