Gravesite
We picked out David's headstone April 19th, 1999. We were going to be moving soon, and my ex-husband was reporting for his new position in one week. I wanted his picture forever on his headstone so there would always be a face to go with his name. I never want him to be forgotten.
I live 5 hours away from David and his gravesite. My friend, Sandy, is taking care of him. I made him a bouquet of artificial flowers soon after I had dried his blue and white carnations and laid a few in his memory box. That is all I have of him - his light green memory box with all his momentos in it. I have his death certificate tucked away in my lockbox. I even have a lock of his abundant hair!
