They've won several awards including The American Music Awards for favorite New Pop/Rock Artist and even the America Online Entertainment Award for Best CD and Best Musical Artist. They're all over teen magazines such as Bop,Teen,YM, and many more. They've become an overnight sensation and this is just the begining. It's none other than N Sync.

N Sync has been a group for over three years, but it didn't take them that long to make it big. It took only one night for them to become a sensation in Germany. JC, Joey, Justin, Chris, and Lance, the five heartthrobs who make up N Sync, came from all over the US to Orlando, Florida to form the group. They came out with a self-titled debut RCA album that is produced by several top producers such as Denniz Pop.

What makes N Sync different from all the other teen idol acts? They are accomplished singers and dancers who have studied under the same choreographer who's worked with Prince and Michael Jackson.

N Sync wasn't always on MTV and all teen magazines. Washington DC born "JC" Chasez, and Memphis, TN native Justin Timberlake met on the set of the Disney Channel show, "Mickey Mouse Club." When the show ended, JC and Justin found themselves in Nashville at the same time working with the same vocal coach and writers, but on separate solo projects. Soon Justin and JC flew back to Orlando, where they hooked up with Chris Kirkpatrick from Pittsburgh, PA. The trio then met New Yorker Joey Fatone in a local Orlando club. Joey, Justin, JC, and Chris would go out clubbing where their slick dance-floor moves had everyone wanting to know what group they were in.

Inspired by everyone's comments, the guys decided to form a band and started looking for a bass voice. After days of searching,Justin called up his vocal coach in Tennessee, who hooked the group up with blonde-haired, green-eyed, 18-year-old James Lance Bass AKA Lance from Mississippi.The group was now complete and would conquer the world as N Sync.
