It's not quite a full moon but people are starting to act strange. The village crew people were barking and howling like wolves, then laughing hysterically at themselves. At 12:30am my bus mates and driver decide to start cleaning out the fridge. The smells are wafting my way. Some of that milk has been there since day one! Yuck. Plus, I think I'm going to shave my head. The people from Godess Hair Potions are clipper happy. The vice president just shaved her head the other day and I'm seriously starting to think it's a fabulous idea. It grows back right? Oh yeah, even bigger and stranger still. Sarah McLachlan cancelled her set tonight due to illness. Apparently she became violently ill some time after dinner. It was very touching when Natalie Merchant, Me'Shell Ndegeocello, Sinead O'Connor, and the Indigo Girls all came out to give their apologies. Me'Shell led the crowd into cheers and applauses in support of Sarah. No one booed or hissed. Everyone left quietly in their disappointment. They say it's the first time ever in her ten year career that she has had to cancel. We all just hope she is okay and better really soon. We head to Clarkson, MI tonight to start a 3 day Lilith Fair so we hope all is well by tomorrow. I saw Sarah in the hall on her way to the hospital and she said she was starting to feel better already.

Another beautiful venue, another perfect day. Unfortunately, the evening ended with disappointment. Our beloved Sarah became very, very ill and just couldn't perform. There were a lot of mixed feelings about it. Some were already satisfied and just shrugged their shoulders, others cried and cried and a few were a little bitter. In general, though, Sarah found understanding, love and support from her fans. I think all in all, it was still a glorious day with some kick ass performances.
