Can you say, Annie? <g> - Woohoo! Sarah hasn't fallen off the face of the earth! :-D (And we can safely say, neither have I!) Along with some old friends like Paula Cole and Melissa Etheridge, Sarah performed "Adia," "Possession," "Angel," and -- GASP! -- A new song!! (although we don't know anything about it, unfortunately.) at the Feminist Majority Foundation's Rock for Choice concert last Friday in LA I thought it was cute that Sarah hasn't performed in so long that she actually felt like she had to bring her lyrics! Sarah's Studio - Looks like her home recording studio is finally finished! Soundcraft, the company that made Sarah's mixing console (or whatever you call those things...) has an awesome article about it, with pictures.
Kissies! - This is just too cute!! Info. from the The Sea of Waking Dreams, one of the few sites that seem to be keeping up-to-date on Sarah -- Much better than I have! Do check it out!
What Sarah's been up to - For those of you who have been wondering, she's mostly been gardening, writing, and according to the above mentioned Rolling Stone article, recording. She's also been working on the Lilith documentary, which is slated, if I remember correctly, for a Fall release. Over the summer, she took up kayaking, which I totally spazzed about because I too fell in love with the sport over the summer! :-) Oh, and she got a new puppy!! A brown lab named Ripley, whom is juuust adorable! I'll scan pix when I get time! She was sweet enough to take the time to write us an email in the last Murmurs newsletter. As soon as the next one comes, I'll update here if there is any news worth posting. And I'll update with pix from the last one when I get the chance...
