Jaimie Laurita on Rosie- Got the pictures of Sarah's personal chef, Jaimie Laurita, on the Rosie O'Donnell Show last December. He cooked the Apple Tart from Plenty. I had no idea how cool this guy is! And he hit it off real well with Rosie, making for a really entertaining exchange between the two, from her frustrations with cooking (as opposed to his "craftyness", to his homemade boots! Check it out. And opefully I'll get that hilarious transcript finished soon!

Grammies- AHHH!! It's short! It's red!!
Yes, our dearest Sarah has changed her hair again! Looks awesome! And the dress she wore to the event was perfect. She looked great.
Sarah won best female vocal performance for "I Will Remember You," the song that everyone will remember from last year, associating it with the tradgedies of Columbine and JFK Jr. The song that made even Paul McCarteny cry. Indeed, we're not the only ones so moved by that voice.
Along with Sheryl Crow and Melissa Etheridge, Sarah also presented an award- Best new artist went to fellow Lilith ckickie Chistina Aguilera (whom I'm glad won over Brittney Spears). At the right is a cute! picture of the 3 presenters announcing the name of the winner in unison. To bad they didn't sing it!
Head on over to the the Sarah Blog at intothefire.com for more pics!

The Latest Sarah Sighting! - We've got a recent picture of Sarah. She chopped her hair up again, but it's still dark, like it was the last time we saw her. Click on the little 'un to view the big 'un. :-)
The Next Sarah Sighting! - Those who are familiar with In Style magazine will probably know that there is a regular section featuring celebrities' favorite recipes, etc. Well, I knew Sarah and her cookbook were bound to end up there sometime! So keep an eye out for her in the very next issue, in an article called "Sarah McLachlan Cooks it Up." Cross your fingers for some nice new pictures as well, because In Style usually does very nice photography. Thanks to my bestest buddy in the whoooole world for the info!

Happy Birthday, Sarah! - Another great year for Sarah has passed by -- Today Sarah turns 32! So even though hardly anyone reads this, I'm sending out my best to Sarah. I wish her a wonderful day, and many more years as great as the past few have been!

"Officer Sarah McLachlan" - Sarah has been awarded Canada's highest honor for lifetime achievement in being appointed to the Order of Canada. Her official title is as an "Officer." I suppose that's Canada's equivalent to England's "knight" status. Accept girls can be in it. :-)
You can read about it in the Ottawa Sun excerpt here or find out what Sarah's reaction was at Jam Music article here.
And to Sarah: Congratulations Sweetie! We're so proud of you! ::HUGS::
Sarah is NOT pregnant - In case (by some unfortunate circumstance) you're not a Murmurs member and are not familiar with the Murmurs newsletter, every issue includes an exclusive interview by the WONDERFUL Murmurs coordinator, Jennifer Gray, with Sarah herself. Here is an excerpt from the latest newsletter which I thought might be of interest:
JENNIFER: Rumor mills are vicious things. I hope that by your addressing the baby issue, we may help quell things for a while. Okay members, stop calling or emailing and asking! Here's the question most often asked. Are you pregnant or is it to early in the game to ask?
SARAH: No I'm not. I don't plan to be for a good, long while, ok?!? I promise to let you all know when it happens. Please be patient!
There it is, folks. Right from the horse's mouth!
And we thought we'd seen the last of Daryl Neudorf... - We were wrong. Sarah is suing for the expenses of the copyright trial. And I've read that there are still five other lawsuits against her still pending. Oh, why is everybody picking on our sweet Sarah??
What's up 'round here:
Speaking of articles... - I'm trying to develop an organized "Articles and Interviews" archive, but I'm having trouble formatting it. Hopefully, the end result will be an organized, easy to navigate, and eventually extensive Sarah information complex.
Notice anything different 'round here? - Don't you just dig those flashy buttons on the Main Menu?! I hope you like, it because it wasn't as simple as it looks. I am aware that my spiffy graphics may not work well on some browsers, but to be honest, I don't know how to go about fixing/getting around those problems. I will say that my browser is Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 for IBM, and it works great on that. I'm working on other major and minor changes, which I'm sure you've noticed by now, so keep checking back.
...And, of course, as always -- comments are welcome!
What I won from Murmurs - As I mentioned before (scroll down a bit), I recently won Murmurs contest. Specifically, what I won was the Mirrorball Interview Prize Pack. It included the following items:
~ The entire Mirrorball interview on CD, which you cannot buy anywhere. You can read excerpts from it here.
~ Two black-and-white glossy photos of Sarah- one copy-signed, and one real-signed! (Pictured at right.) View the complete, full-size version by clicking on the thumbnail. :-)
~ Some other little things- a Murmurs sticker and a really cool designed postcard, and a sort of Mirrorball press release type thing to read.

Happy 2000, everyone! - I've started a fresh News page. Last year's news can be viewed here or here. (Both links are the same, just slightly different URLs.) Soon, I'll go through it all and archive everything to it's proper section of this site. There's a lot of stuff on this site that you can only get to through the News section, and it really should be more organized than that.
Grammy's - Sarah presented some nominations, and got nominated for some, too! Three, actually.
Best Pop Album for Mirrorball
Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for "I Will Remember You"
Best Female Rock Vocal Performance for "Possession (Live)"
Congratulations and good luck to Sarah!! :-) And don't forget: The Grammys will air on February 23rd!
I won! I won! - Well, guess what. I got the yearly Murmurs package (my first one!) last Friday, and while skimming through the winter newsletter, I noticed that someone from Granger, Indiana had won one of those little contests that they do. Now, I live in Granger, Indiana, but for some odd reason, it didn't exactly click right away. Don't know why. Later on, in the middle of reading the interview or something, I thought, "Gee, maybe I know the person who won it." Lo and behold, I did. It was me! Lol. Yep, that's me, right there on page 16- Bridget McGann, Granger, IN. I was sort of caught off guard. I was just sort of like, Oh....Cool! I won a Murmurs contest!
Anyway, I got a call from Jennifer Gray, the Murmurs coordinator, today, in reply to a message I'd left, asking if members are allowed to enter any more Murmurs contests after they've won. Because I really want to try the one where you create a fictional Sarah fanzine, as it would give me an excuse to work on my Computer Assisted Design skills. She said that you can enter as much as you like, and you don't have to wait, like, 6 months after you've won or anything like that. So, there you go, for further reference. She also told me that what I've actually won was an exclusive Mirrorball interview Prize Pack, which includes an interview CD that you can't get anywhere else, and a bunch of other rare stuff. It should arrive anytime, now, so I'll let you know what's in it!
