With over 4000 Investment Clubs nationally and 150 being started each week, there has never been a better chance to set up a club.
ProShare will help you do this.
ProShare is an independant, not-for-profit organisation funded by the London Stock Exchange and industry,
which exists to promote the benefits of owning shares. Within this framework, ProShare aims to encourage
the formation of investment clubs affiliated to ProShare, support such clubs with responsible
advice and products, promote the benefits of owning shares and to increase the understanding
of ProShare Investment Club members' of investing in the stock market.
ProShare membership costs £25 and for this in 1999 we got:
- A free copy of the Analyst
- A free specialist report from McKay Financial information
- A free copy of the Investor's Guide to Information Sources
- A 2-for-the-price-of-1 offer on Investors Chronicle Workshops
- Each member receives a copy of the excellent Dividend magazine
- Access to the ProShare helpline (in case a club ever runs into administrative problems)
- Free to enter competitions (£1000 a month in each of The Mail on Sunday and The Mirror)
