Mystic Knight of Stone Part 2

The next day, Ivar and Angus were horsing around while Rohan and Deirdre were showing Elizabeth the ropes around Kells. Once Elizabeth and Deirdre were alone, the princess inquired about her and Rohan's secret.
"Oh, it's nothing. Just something that he wanted to tell someone." Elizabeth said and walked off.
But Deirdre was still curious so after dinner she went to Elizabeth's room only to find Rohan and Elizabeth there talking about something.
"Did you tell anyone what I told you?" she could hear Rohan say.
"No, although Deirdre is getting pretty curious." Elizabeth said.
"You can't tell a soul Liz! You gave me your word that you wouldn't. Not a soul can know that I love the princess." Rohan said.
So that is what they were hiding! Deirdre thought with a shocked look on her face.
Then she heard Rohan coming out the door. She quickly went down the hall and came back so that it would look like she had just come down the hall.
"Oh hello Rohan, I didn't see you there." she said.
"Princess, I would like to talk to you sometime soon," Rohan said.
"Well, how about now. I'm not busy." Deirdre said.
Rohan nodded and they walked down the hall to the throne room. They sat down at the table.
"You wanted to talk to me? What about?" Deirdre said.
Rohan took a deep breath and said, "Well, I have been thinking a lot lately and I have come to a decision. Deirdre, I love you very much. I want us to be together always." He finished and looked at her.
"Rohan, this is quite a shock. I always thought that our relationship was only as friends, but I have to admit something too. Actually 2 some things. I knew that you loved me before you told me. I was listening to the conversation that you and Elizabeth were having outside her door, but I love you too. I do want us to be together as well." Deirdre said.
Just then Ivar, Angus, and Elizabeth came rushing in.
"You guys, there are Temra soldiers attacking our eastern borders. We must go and help them," Ivar said.
"Then we leave at once," Elizabeth said.
Soon after the five of them were on their way to the eastern border of Kells. Once they got there they quickly joined in the fight. However, Maeve had apparently sent a monster to deal with the Knights, so they soon had to go off and fight the monster.
"Let's call our armour," Ivar said.
"Fire within me."
"Earth beneath me"
"Water around me"
"Air above me"
"Stone beneath me"
Magically their armour appeared and off they went to battle the evil creature that Maeve had sent. Rohan shot his fire at it. Deirdre her air, Ivar his water, and Angus is earth. The only person who hadn't shot anything at it yet was Elizabeth. Rohan looked at her.
"What's the matter Liz? We need some help here ya know," Rohan said.
Just then, Elizabeth shot something out of her Mystic Weapon and it hit the monster turning it to stone and nearly missing Rohan.
"Oops, sorry! I guess I am not used to this yet." Elizabeth said.
With the monster turned to stone, the five Knights were easily able to defeat evil creature.
Back in Kells, Rohan and Deirdre called the King and all of the Knights into the throne room for a meeting. Also there was the kings druid.
"What is this all about you two?" Angus asked.
Rohan and Deirdre looked at each other.
Then Deirdre said, "Father, Rohan and I are in love. We wish to be married some day. But we would like your approval Father." Deirdre said.
Everybody in the throne room looked shocked. But Elizabeth looked the most shocked of all.
"Well, my daughter and the warrior Draganta, in love. This is quite a surprise. Well, you two have my blessings. Go and be happy." the king said.
No one noticed when Elizabeth crept out of the throne room, tears running down her face. She ran and ran until she reached Tir Na Nog. When she got inside she went to King Fin Varra for help.
After she told her story to the fairy king, he told her these few words, "So, you are jealous of the princess and Rohan are you? Well, if you truly love Rohan then you have every right to be jealous." he said. "But you cannot desert your friends in their time of need. Put away your jealous thoughts and return to Kells. Be with your friends. That is what truly makes you happy."
Elizabeth took the fairy kings words to heart and returned to Kells. When she got back she made up an excuse to the others about leaving so suddenly and went to bed.
The next morning while Rohan and Elizabeth were on patrol, Maeve's army, led by Torc, came and attacked them and took Elizabeth prisoner. Rohan however managed to escape. Torc took Elizabeth to Maeve's castle and she was locked in the dungeon. Meanwhile, Rohan told the others about what had happened and they rushed to Temra to save Elizabeth, not knowing what lay in store for them.....
