Mystic Knight of Stone Part 1

As Ivar and Rohan were patrolling the eastern borders of Kells, a young girl approached them.
"Who goes there?" Ivar asked her.
The girl looked up at them and smiled. "I am here to see Princess Deirdre. I am a friend of hers." she said.
Rohan looked at Ivar. "Should we take her to the castle?" Rohan said.
Ivar nodded. "All right. Come with us." Rohan said.
They walked up to the castle. When they entered the throne room, the King and his druid we in a deep conversation.
"Your majesty, I am sorry to intrude but this girl says that she is a friend of Deirdre's," Rohan told the King.
"So you are a friend of my daughters. What is your name? I don't remember you." the King said to the girl.
She removed her cape and bowed to the King. "My name is Elizabeth. I was a friend of your daughters a long time ago, when I used to live in Kells." she said.
Just then Angus and Deirdre came into the throne room.
"Father we need to speak to you about..... Who are you?" Deirdre said.
"Why don't you remember me Deirdre?" Elizabeth said.
Deirdre looked her up and down.
She furrowed her brow in concentration. "No I'm afraid I don't. You don't look familiar to me at all." she said. "Now Father. As I was saying......"
Just then Elizabeth cried out. "Deirdre. It's me. Elizabeth. Don't you remember?" she said.
Deirdre turned around. The look on her face was one of pure astonishment. "Elizabeth?? Is that really you?" she said. "My god it has been years since I've seen you last." She wrapped Elizabeth in a big hug.
Then she noticed Ivar, Angus, and Rohan. "Oh, please excuse me. Elizabeth, this is Ivar, Angus, and Rohan. Guys this is Elizabeth. She is a friend of mine from a long time ago." Deirdre said.
"Nice to meet you," Angus said. "So how did you two meet?" Rohan asked. "Well, when I was about 8 or 9 I was allowed to go out in to the streets of Kells and mingle with the common folk." Deirdre started. "I saw Liz on the side of the road almost begging for food. I felt sorry for her so I invited her into the castle for something to eat. She and my father became good friends right from the start. From then on we were inseparable."
“But a couple of years after we met, my mother and I moved away from Kells and went to Temra. My mother said something about Temra being safer then Kells or something like that. But my mother died a couple of days ago so I decided to come and see Deirdre again. But before I left, Queen Maeve torched our farm for some reason. So now I have nowhere to live.” Elizabeth finished.
Then the King spoke up. "So this is the Elizabeth that I remember. You're welcome to stay in the castle if you wish." he said.
"Thank you my king," Elizabeth said.
She and Ivar left to go to Elizabeth's new home.
"Now Deirdre, you said that you and Angus had something to talk to me about?" the King said.
"Yes Father. While Angus and I were patrolling the western border we saw two Temra spies looking around the border. We kicked them off, but it looked pretty suspicious," Deirdre said.
Rohan looked at her. "You saw Temra spies too? Just before Ivar and I ran into Elizabeth, we saw about 5 spies looking around the border." he said. "Aideen! Come here please." Rohan called out.
"You called?" the little fairy answered. "Go over to Temra. See what Queen Maeve is up to." Rohan said.
Aideen left and Elizabeth and Ivar entered once more. This time Elizabeth was dressed in one of Deirdre's old dresses. "I hope you don't mind that I borrowed one of your old dresses Deirdre. Mine was all tattered." Elizabeth said.
"Oh, no I don't mind at all. I don't even wear that thing anymore." Deirdre said. "You can keep it."
Later that day, Elizabeth and Deirdre were walking around Kells when Rohan and Angus snuck up from behind and scared the both of them.
"Goodness!" Elizabeth said.
"Sorry to disturb your fun ladies, but we need to steal Deirdre for a few." Rohan said.
"Oh may I come please? I won't be a bother. I promise." Elizabeth said.
The four Mystic Knights thought about is for a second then Rohan said, "I guess that it won't be a problem. We are just going on a Mystic Knights patrol."
Elizabeth's eyes widened. "You four are the Mystic Knights???" she almost yelled.
"Yes we are. You must feel very privileged to be patrolling with us." Angus said in a bragging tone.
Soon they were on their way to Tir-Na-Nog to see King Fin Varra. When they got there Rohan said, "I don't know if you can enter with us, but you can try."
Elizabeth placed her hand along with the others on the stone and instantly she was transported to Tir-Na-Nog, the land of the little people.
"Ah, I have been expecting you. Who is your new companion?" the fairy king said. "King Fin Varra, we would like you to meet Elizabeth." Ivar said.
"She should of not been able to get in here unless she had the power of a Mystic Knight inside of her." the little king said.
The four Knights looked at each other in confusion. "There is a tale of a seventh Mystic Knight. The Knight of Stone." King Fin Varra said. "Elizabeth is that seventh Mystic Knight. But first, as you all did, she must prove herself worthy."
Elizabeth looked confused at all this. "So you're telling me that I am a Mystic Knight too? This is so cool. So how do I prove myself worthy?" she said.
"You will be put through a test to see if you are a true Mystic Knight." the fairy king told her.
Just then a hole opened up under Elizabeth and she fell down. She landed on a hard stone floor. She got up, brushed herself off and looked around.
"Psst, over here." a little voice called.
Elizabeth looked around for the source of that voice. Then she saw a little fairy.
"See that up there?" the little fairy pointed.
Elizabeth looked up to see what looked like a sword.
"That is the mystic weapon of the Mystic Knight of Stone. Retrieve it and you will become the seventh Mystic Knight." the little fairy disappeared.
Elizabeth started to climb the rock but then she was knocked down by a ghost. She found a sword lying on the ground a began to fight the ghost. Up above the other Mystic Knights and King Fin Varra were watching her.
"She has great fighting skills," Angus said.
"She is a wonderful fighter," Rohan said.
Elizabeth defeated the ghost but just then more came out at her.
"Deirdre, Rohan, Ivar, Angus! Help me please!!!" she yelled.
All of a sudden she was transported back to the throne room and was standing in front of King Fin Varra.
"Did I fail the test?" she asked uncertainly.
The fairy king laughed. "No No No, you passed. You called on your friends for help. That is what a true Mystic Knight would do."
Just then the sword that Elizabeth had seen appeared in her hands.
"That is a powerful sword. When pointed just right, it can turn anyone to stone for 15 minutes." the little king said.
"Where can she find her armour?" Deirdre asked.
"Over the hills and through the woods on to Kells you'll go. In the castle of the King you'll find your armour under a simple stone." King Fin Varra said.
"Then we go home to Kells to get your armour," Rohan told Elizabeth.

Back at Kells, the now five Mystic Knights approached the castle.
"You have to find your armour by your self." Ivar told her.
"Good luck!" Angus said.
"Yeah good luck!" Rohan and Deirdre said.
Elizabeth took a deep breath and went inside the castle. She kept reciting the verse that the fairy king had said. Then she found a painting of a river and woods.
Under the painting was a stone. She lifted it and out came the sentinal guarding her armour.
"So, you are here for the armour are you not?" the sentinal hissed.
Elizabeth looked scared but bravely said "I am the Mystic Knight of Stone. I am her to collect my armour."
Then she and the sentinal fought. She defeated the sentinal and went over to the stone to get her armour.
"Stone beneath me." she called Magically her armour appeared.
She jumped for joy and ran outside to show the others.
"Wow look at that armour." Angus said.
"It is pretty cool," Ivar said.
"Was the fight tough? "Rohan asked her.
"No it was pretty easy." Elizabeth said.
They all went into the castle to show Elizabeth's armour to the king.
"What's all this?" The king asked.
"Elizabeth is the Mystic Knight of Stone your majesty." Ivar said.
"Well this is a surprise. I guess I should say welcome to the Mystic Knights, Elizabeth." the king said.
Rohan pulled Elizabeth over to talk to her. He whispered something in her ear and made her promise not to tell anyone.
