Mandy
This is Mandy's story..........
A Hurricane Katrina
Rescue
In October 2005 an
emergency email was sent to PCCI club members about an 8
year old, 11 pound Pomeranian who had been displaced by
Hurricane Katrina and was scheduled for euthanasia.
Our club
member, Sherri, located in the same town as the shelter
adopted the Pom, then The Hilton’s adopted her on October 15th. and she
now has her
‘forever’ home.
Within a few weeks,
Mandy was scheduled for dental work, spay surgery, blood work up,
and microchipped. All went well and as you would expect she
was an excellent patient.
Mandy has settled into
her new home with her two ‘sister’ poms.
It is reported that
Mandy likes to sit on her Mom’s lap and help with
emails.
Mandy you’re a
lucky little gal!!
