William GOBIN was born 7 July 1786 in Shelby or Jefferson Co., KY. His parents were Joseph GOBIN and Lidia CARSON. He married Sophia McCLANAHAN, who was born 4 April 1787. He died 18 January 1860 and she died 13 March 1848. They were both burried in Engle Cemetery, Carlise, Sullivan, IN.
