Joseph GOBIN was born c. 1732 in Virginia. He married Lydia CARSON, born 1765-1770. He died December 1790 or January 1791. His will mentions his wife and three sons.
After his death, Lydia married Joseph ENGLE and moved to Sullivan County, Indiana. She died between 1830-1835. Lydia and Mr. ENGLE were/are buried in Engle Cemetery, off of Old 40 in Carlisle, Sullivan, Indiana.
