Welcome to the Pensive web site full of amazing facts about the four young lads from Warragul, Australia...
Pensive are one of the great bands to be included in the Warragul scene along with good friends The Voorhees, The Devients, newcomers Do Not Eat and Spork.
Pensive are Ben Perkin (Drums), Evan Bywater (Bass), Aaron Hasell (Guitar) and Brenden Stubbs (Guitar and Vox). To describe the sounds the they produce would be some sort of fusion between Metallica, Seplutura and Korn. With five a string bass and guitars tuned down to low A the only way to describe it is as PHAT.
The first demo comes with a warning "Excessive Bass" and should have been titled "No need for a Sub Woofer" instead of "Just a Phase" If you think Coal Chamber are Phat then you should have a listen to this, but first make sure you crank the treble and turn the bass down (unless ya have the cash for new speakers or you like the feeling of blood running down your face and neck from blowing our your eardrums...)
Just a Phase will hopefully be released before the end of the year. It includes 8 tracks plus one bonus. The list is :
