Mid America Search and Rescue is a non-profit service operating solely on charitable donations. Our headquarters is located in Clay County, Illinois between Louisville and Flora (or approximately 30 miles South of Effingham.) Founded in March of 2001, we are a group of highly and diversely trained search and emergency managers. We are seeking members and donations from parties interested in learning about, serving and supporting search and rescue activities in Southern Illinois and the surrounding area.
