of lean ground beef 1 head of lettuce(cut up
for salad) 2-3 large tomatoes(diced) 2
large pickles (diced finely) 1/2 oinon
diced(optional) 2-3 cups cheddar
cheese(diced in small cubes) 1 bag of frito
chips(crunch up slightly)
Directions
Brown hamburger with salt
and pepper to taste, drain all the
grease. When hamburger is drained add
lettuce, tomatoes, onion, cheese, pickles
and fritos toss and serve. Can serve with
salsa, sour cream or eat just as it
is.
Macaroni

(8-ounce)package macaroni 2 small cucumbers,
peeled and chopped 1 small onion,
chopped 1 tomato, peeled and chopped 2
tablespoons sweet pickle relish 4 to 6 green
olives, chopped 1/4 cup mayonnaise 1/2
cup cheese, cubed
Directions
Cook
macaroni according to package
directions. Drain and add
remaining ingredients; stir well. Salt
and pepper to taste. Serve warm or chill 2
hours.
Pasta & Crab

cups pasta, cooked and chilled 1/2 pk
crabmeat 1 1/2 c mayo 1 garlic salt
and pepper to taste 1 onion, diced 1 head
of bunch broccoli, chopped 2 stalks chopped
celery
Directions
Mix
all ingredients in a large bowl. Let sit
in fridge until thoroughly chilled.
Caesar
Salad
Ingredients

cloves garlic, peeled and crushed 4 tbsp
olive oil 2 slices stale sandwich bread,
cubed 1 egg 2 cups romaine lettuce,
coarsely shredded scant 1/4 tsp dry
mustard sprinkling of black pepper 2 tbsp
Parmesan cheese, grated 1 tbsp fresh lemon
juice
Directions
Make croutons: In a skillet, heat
one of the cloves fo garlic in 1tbsp of olive
oil, taking care not to brown it; add bread
cubes and toss to coat, then brown them on all
sides. Set aside. Place the egg, unshelled, in
a small pan of simmering water to 1 minute or
slightly more. Remove and set aside. Rub the
salad bowl with the second garlic clove. Add
the remaining oil, mustard, pepper, Parmesan,
and lemon juice. Whisk in the partly cooked
egg. Add lettuce and toss lightly until all fo
the dressing is absorbed. Just before serving,
toss with croutons.
