Friends are Forever

Friends are forever,

Friends are for real,

Friends are for expressing,

All the emotions we try to hide, but feel.

Friends are the flowers

which line the river's edge.

They are for sharing and for caring,

And for the shields they place around us,

Like a hedge.

Friends are for leaning on,

They are for helping and comforting, too.

It would take forever

to describe all that they are,

and true ones, are scattered and few.

I am truly blessed in every way,

And I thank the Lord on every day,

because I have such a good Friend in YOU!

Although my husband is my very best friend,

I wanted to have a page for those in my life

who mean so much to me.

I guess that my next closest friend would be

my mom. I am fortunate enough to have a

mother that I can talk to about anything.

She listens without judging and offers

excellent advice while being my friend and

not just my mom.

I would have to say that my best friend is

Michelle Wilson. We met as former

co-workers of an adoption agency for homeless

puppies and kittens. We have alot in common

besides our love for animals. She has put

together a wonderful website for her family.

They are expecting a precious baby boy in

October and I'm really excited about that.

Michelle has always been there for me and

vice versa. I feel that I can talk to her

about anything. She is a true friend and

believe me, those are hard to come by.

I have a good friend in Kathy Norman.

Although we hardly see each other or talk

because of our very busy schedules, I know

that she will always be there. She lives out

of town and works over 40 hours a week,

which leaves very little time for much else.

She has a beautiful daughter named Tierra,

so I'm sure what free time she has, is spent

with her. We do keep in touch via e-mail,

and that is enough to let each other know that

we think about one another on a daily basis.

We met many years ago while working in

the same office building and have been friends

ever since.

I have many other friends, but they aren't

people I talk to or see on a regular basis.

To these people, I'd like to say that I

think of you often and I will always keep in

touch in one way or another.
