Apple and Frank Skillet

2 Tbsp. Oleo
1/2 Cup Chopped Onion
1 Pound Red Cabbage
1 Tbsp. Vinegar
1/8 tsp. Salt
1/8 tsp. Allspice
1 Pound Jumbo Weiners
2 Large Winesap Apples
1 Tbsp. Brown Sugar

Saute Onion in Oleo until soft. Chop Cabbage. Add Cabbage, Vinegar, Salt & Spice to onion. Cook, covered, over low heat until tender. Slice Weiners diagonally. Core and slice Apples. Place Apples & Weiners on top of Cabbage mixture. Sprinkle with Brown Sugar, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Serves 4

Serve with buttery mashed potatoes, french rolls, and angel cake.
