~*Chapter 9*~
"Hey Steph?" Kim said will deep in thought. "Yeah." "When I fell and
hit my
head I heard someone say 'Kim Baby wake up. Wake up for me. I really
like you
and I don't wanna lose you. ' who was it?" Kim had an idea of who it
was but
she wanted to make sure. "It was......." Steph started. "It was me."
Nick
said walking in. Kim smiled. Nick turned red. "I had a feeling it was
you."
She said. Nick went and sat on the bed next to Kim and held her hand.
Brian
walked in behind him. Steph greeted him with a hug. Brian
automatically
kissed her. Kim and Nick just watched. Steph didn't wanna pull away
but she
did. She was speechless. "Can I talk to you out side?" Brian asked
Steph
smiling. "sure" They walked out the door leaving Nick and Kim in the
room by
themselves. "Did u call?" She asked. "Yes, all of them are coming at
10 in
the morning. Did you know we live on the same street?" He asked.
"really
that's cool. Now I can see you more often." She replied smiling pulling
him
in for a kiss. They kissed and Brian asked "Will you be my girlfriend?
I
know we just meet and all........." He was cut off by a kiss. "Does
this
tell you something?" Steph said grinning. "I'm hoping that's a yes."
He
replied. "Yep." ***************back to Nick and Kim***************
"Did you see them? they are like in love." Kim said. "Yeah I know"
Nick said
just watching her not taking his eyes off her. She knew he was
watching her.
"Nick?" Kim said looking into his beautiful blue eyes. "Yeah." "I
just
wanted to thank you personally for fighting for me. You didn't have to
though. Its just that he wont leave me alone." She started to cry.
"Ever
since We moved here he has been all over me. He......." She couldn't
finish
she burst into tears. Nick pulled her close. She wrapped her arms
around his
neck. She didn't mean to let it all out on him but it just came out.
"Kim
sweetie stop crying I don't like to see you crying or in pain." He
wiped
away her tears. "I'm sorry I don't mean to spill out on you
..............
She was stopped by him lifting her head and Kissing her. It was great
for
Kim. She didn't want to let go. It was so right. "AWWWWW Nicks gotta
girlfriend." Brian teased as they caught them kissing. "OH shut up."
Nick
said throwing a pillow at him. Kim blushed. Well, I'm going to run
and get
something to eat. You want anything?" Nick asked Kim. "Ummm sure I'M
starved. Get me something I don't care." OK "I'll go with you" Steph
said.
They walked out of the room. "well what do you wanna do?" Kim asked
Brian.
You wanna play N64?" N64? You carry you N64 with you?" she asked.
"Yeah who
doesn't" Brian hooked it up. "What games do you have?" she asked. "I
have
Mario Kart and Mortal Kombat." "Let me kick your butt at Mario Kart."
You
wish im the master. "Please" she said sarcastically. They started the
game.
~*chapter 10*~
"How did you do that?" Steph asked Nick. As they walked down the hall.
"What
do you mean?" He asked confused. "well normally Kim wont let anyone
near
her much less Kiss her."
"Why is that?"
"Well, don't say anything to her but before we moved here, her
ex-boyfriend
beat her. She couldn't get away from him. He always knew where she
was. One
night she was at her Aunts house and he found her. He beat her so bad
that we
had to put her in the hospital. We called to cops and they put him in
jail.
When she was released, we decided to move here to Orlando. The last we
heard
of him the moved east of Texas like us."
"What does this guy look like?" Nick asked curiously.
"Well, he is tall He has brown hair brown eyes and skinny. He also has
a
goatee thing going on."
"Well, anyway I'm surprised she let you kiss her." Steph said walking
into
the cafeteria. "She must really I'm mean really like you."
"No one can resist me." Nick said smiling. "Your so full of yourself"
Steph
said laughing.
"I know. Hey does Kim like dogs?"
"Yes, she loves dogs."
"Well, I was thinking of getting her a Chihuahua. She's Brown with
white
patches. She's real cute. Its like a welcome home present."
"Wow she would love it."
"We have a Chihuahua too. Actually its Brian's. His name is Tyke. He's
so
cute."
"Cool Yeah she would love a dog."
"Now I have a way of getting her to like me."
"She already likes you. OOPS. I wasn't supposed to say that." Steph
said
covering her mouth.
"Really?" Nick said smiling.
"Yeah just don't say anything." "I wont I promise."
"OK lets go." Nick paid for the food and they walked back up to Kim's
room.
~*Chapter 11*~
"Come on Kim just one more game." Brian said beggingly. "Why I've
already
kicked your butt 15 out of 20 races already. Except defeat." She said.
At
that time Nick and Steph walked in. "What Brian except defeat? Never."
Nick
said laughingly. "How about I kick you butt now Nick?" "What a
challenge?
Do I hear a challenge? Your not going to refuse it are you nick?" Brian
asked. "Me back down from a challenge? HA never!"
Everyone laughed. "Well, while they are playing do you wanna go to the
mall?" Brian said to Steph. He knew she needed to get out. "Sure.
Kim will
be back. And Kick his butt." OK will do," she laughed.
~*chapter 12*~
They walked down the hall and out to Kim's corvette. Brian opened the
door
for Steph. "Thanks." "Sure." As they drove off Steph turned to radio
on.
"And here is a new song released for the new boy band the Backstreet
Boys
We've got it goin on." Brian felt shaky. "This song is the coolest. I
have
to get this CD." Steph said. "I like this song too." Brian said trying
to
hide his shakiness.
