Bad Girl

The book begins with Conner trying to explain to Meghan that her dad isn't trustworthy. Telling her that they are not all going to be the perfect family. She runs out on him and he realizes that the only one that can get through to her is Liz!

Meanwhile Liz has just gotten a pink slip. It turns out that if there is a sharp decline in your grades you have to see a councilor. Liz is shocked the guy she says is named Mr. Valasquez she explains everything that has happened since the earthquake (Minus The Conner Info). He tells her that he will call her parents & he sets up an appointment with her for next week.

Ken is really excited his history teacher just congratulated him on his paper and he has Maria to thank for it he invites her to the movies and she accepts.

Jessica is on cloud nine because of Will. She's with Jade and Tia when Cherie and Gina walk up. Cherie invites Jade and Tia to a party at her house but ignores Jessica but Jessica is to happy to care

Maria and Ken are at a fair with Ken trying to win her a stuffed animal he thinks that it is romantic. After he wins it she gives it to some kid and he feels bad :(

At the HOJ Jess and Will are together as Andy and Tia show up. Jess comments on that she will have Liz to keep her company when they are all at Cherie's party. Will surprises Jessica by saying that he won't go where Jessica is not wanted.

In a journal entry Jeremy says that he saw Jessica with Will and walked out. He says that he is going to rearrange his hours so that he will never work a shift with Jessica again.

Liz's parents are really worried about her. They get into an argument with her and tell her that they made an appointment for them all to go see Mr Valaquez and that it is at three o'clock sharp.

Maria and Ken are driving home after the fair. Maria is putting down the movie while all Ken can think of is nibbling on her earlobe! Meanwhile Maria has no clue that Ken likes her or that Ken thinks that they are dating she thinks that Ken and her are just friends!

The next day Liz is by her locker when Conner asks her to talk to Megan. Liz is happy to help but Conner leaves before they can talk he leaves because he wants to kiss her so badly ;)

Liz talks to Megan and invites her to Casey's. They talk awhile Liz tries to convince her that parents sometimes surprise you. Suddenly she remembers her appointment with Mr Valasquez after she misses that meeting her dad grounds her this time for real.

Liz is all depressed because she is grounded. Liz and Jess tell Maria that she and Ken are dating. Maria says that Ken is just her friend but secretly she worries. When Ken asks her to Cherie's party she freaks but decides that she and Ken are friends and that she is going.

At The McDermott-Sandborn house Conner has had a talk with Gary. Gary agrees to talk to Conner about his girlfriend if Conner will come to dinner and behave. Conner agrees because he knows that this is for Megan. Just as they are about to sit down the doorbell rings. It's Gary's girlfriend Megan can't believe it and runs upstairs. Conner knocks on her door and tries to get her to open but she wants to be alone. Conner confronts Gary and basically tells him that he is a bad father. When Conner goes to Megans room again he finds a note that says that she had to leave!

Liz is in her room when Megan shows up. Lis knows that she is risking getting into more trouble but she lets her in anyway.

Maria and Ken are eating dinner at a good restaurant Maria is getting nervous because this looks like a date. Maria asks him straight out if he wants to date her. Ken asks her the same question. Maria responds that she doesn't know and Ken feels stupid.

Megan has finally calmed down when Liz says that she should call Conner. At that moment Conner and Tia show up. Conner gets mad at Liz for not telling him. He bails an takes Megan with him. Liz gets into even more trouble with her parents not only that but since Jessica knew Megan was with Liz Jessica gets into trouble!

Ken and Maria arrive after a quiet strained drive. Ken goes his way and Maria goes hers. Liz decides to sneak out to go to that party. SHe is determined to talk to Conner. When Liz gets there she sees no sign of Conner. Cherie offers Liz a drink and she drinks it!

On the other side of the house Ken is talking to gina but thinking about Maria. When he finally sees her he sees that she is dancing with Aaron Dallas. Suddenly Gina asks him to dance and he says yes as he is looking at Aaron and MAria.

After talking to Tia Conner feels Guilty about the way he treated Liz. When he gets there Jessica tells him that Liz when to Cherie's party. He agrees to go check on her.

When Tia and Andy finally arrive at the party Liz is really drunk. They want to take her home but Liz sneaks off. Maria is dancing with Aaron and thinking of Ken. When Aaron leaves to get a drink she looks around for ken and see him dancing with Gina! Maria is so mad that she walks up to them! Gina is drunk and doesn't care so she just leaves. Ken asks Maria to dance. She forgets that she is angry when she is in his arms, He looks into her eyes and says
"I'm going to kiss you now. I wanted to tell you first to make sure we're clear on the subject."
Maria smiles and says "Yes, we're clear"
Than they Kiss!

The police raid the party just as Conner shows up and sees that liz is drunk. He gets her. She asks him where he was. He than says that he wanted to apologize and thank her for being there for Megan, Liz says that she is here for him too and that she is here right now. Conner bends down and kisses her :)
