What are Devils Sticks?

Well Devils Sticks, Rythm Sticks, or Juggle Sticks are three sticks. Two control sticks and one Devil Stick or Baton. The control sticks are usually about 1½ long, and are wraped with something to a) protect the stick from damage, and b) the help provide grip on the baton. The baton is about 3 feet long and has weighted ends. I've seen different types of ends anything from filled tennis balls, rubber caps, or thick streamers. Or they have ones with wicks on the end that you light.

The basic idea is to toss the baton back and forth with the control sticks. Then you start adding twists, flips, stalls, and various other really cool looking moves. For some more detailed information on Devils Sticks and how to do them, check out Jim Barlow's Devil Stick Page. It's a pretty good resource.
