Chapter 5
When The Monkees were going out for a gig, they strictly forbade Rebecca to open the door to anyone. She obeyed because she knew her safety was depending on that.
One night, as Rebecca was alone, the doorbell rang. The young girl did not answer. After a few minutes, she assumed that the visitor had thought nobody was home and went away. But Vince - 'cause it was he - had gone in the backyard and saw that there was a large patio door. He broke in. Rebecca who was in the kitchen uttered a cry and tried to escape. But the man grabbed her by the waist. He had a bad laugh:
- I found you, baby. Before going home, I'll show you how much I missed you.
Rebecca screamed "HELP!" as loudly as she could. Vince put his hand on her mouth. She bit his hand very strongly. Vince got very mad.
