Introduction to the Christmas Edition

Hello and welcome to the fourth installment of "Off the Wall," our year-end spectacular. We wish you seasons greetings, dear readers. We bring you this brief holiday issue to celebrate the holidays and allow you to read our poems, stories, and anecdotes on the holidays and what they mean to us. Some articles may cause you to squeal with pleasure. Others may cause uncontrollable laughter to overtake you. One or two could even infect you with passionate anger. Finally, these entries could make you weep hysterically, but that's just part of the emotional rollercoaster you've come to expect from the folks here at "Off the Wall." We hope you find our articles and poems brimming with holiday spirit as we have put a lot of heart into this brief issue. Have a merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah, a cathartic Kwanzaa, and while you're at it, how about a swinging New Year, too! Is that too much to ask? If it is you can send your comments to:

Finally we advise you to have a safe holiday this year. As the poignant theatrical gem, "A Christmas Story" reminds us when Ralphie asks for that Red Rider bee-bee gun, "You'll shoot your eye out, kid." Editor's note: Due to an unknown phenomenon, (we're thinking of blaming El Nino) a piece of the poem "Christmas With the Fam" mysteriously disappeared from our last issue. However, it is reprinted in its entirety in this issue. We apologize if this caused any confusion or led to any otherworldly abductions.
