For greediness and evil oppose
Sleepers at this miraculous sight
A soul was released
Under a star
Sharing his heart
Only to die
Releasing our guilt
Our sins and our fears
Taking us from debt
For something we owe...
Bore a Christmas Crow
A symbol was born
Of reconciliation and death
It is a boundless spirit
Giving when it deserves to be given
Healing those who don't deserve to be healed
A star shone the way
We must follow
Along the way we will fall
But worry not
There is one who inspires us all
Giving meaning to life
This creature comes once in a year
In the short temporary time we are here
It opens its wings above
Bringing hope and joy
To the lives of unworthy mortals
But the purpose lies somewhere else
It is built in eternity
Reminding us to have circumcised hearts and ears
To build up our dreams
Where the crows chant Welcome
Our eternity was born through the clouds
And given to us as a sacrifice
It lies in a manger gleaming over us
We who have received the law of the angels
Must put it into effect
Making it a reality
Flying in the sky
Through the dark
You can hear the crows chant welcome
Opening its wings above
Shedding its warmth
And bringing hope and joy
