New Nightmare 2 Scene 4 CUT David is in his room, cleaning it...Making sure that everything is spotless. Constantly cleaning. Everything placed orderly. His room is filled with dolls from horror movies, such as the puppet master dolls, Talking Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers and the Crypt Keeper. He is placing them all on displays. Making everything fit for inspection.David's Mom David, is your room clean yet. You have to go to school. David finishes putting his Movie Maniac doll of Freddy into it's display when he feels he is finished. He turns his back on the room, and walks out the door quickly, the camera looking him straight on. But as soon as he makes it through the door, he stops, surprised, and confused. The camera circles around him to see what is in front of him to reveal his room, it's a mess. Everything is thrown all over the place and there is a man turned away from David bending over. The man turns around and stands talls. He is enormously tall, pale, eerie as his movements are all quick and smooth. He has a large, eerie smile, and bald. He starts to move towards David, but he doesn't take steps. He moves back and forth in a swaying motion, but seems to glide smoothly towards David. David turns to run, and the tall man continues to follow. The camera goes from looking behind David to a low angle of him running. The hallway he is running down seems like forever, and just seems to drag on. David constantly looks back. Seeing each time as the tall man was always just a little behind David. Then Freddy's voice speaks out from behind David through the hallway.Freddy Your afraid of this. David stops and turns around to look back. Freddy stands there. Holding the squirming tall man.Freddy I think you have greater things to Fear Freddy slices the tall man's face away to reveal only black nothing underneath. CUTDavid AAAhhhhhh! David sits straight up in his bed screaming, sweating from the nightmare. He looks around his room, at all the horror items. He looks at his Freddy doll as it sits there grinning at him.David I've got to throw this shit out. David gets out of bed, and goes into the bathroom wearing only his boxer shorts. He looks into the mirror, and sees the rope burn around his neck from the rope that had been around his throat in his dream at the movie theater. Then he turns to look back into his room, not being able to see the freddy doll directly, but still wanting to look himself so that he could make a mental note. All that shit was being sold, he is thinking, as he reaches into the shower and turns it on. Close up of the shower head as scolding hot water shoots out, steaming. CUT David is coming out from his out to meet Candy, Josh and Tina, as they had pulled up out front. Josh is driving. Candy is in the passenger seat crying over the loss of her sister. Tina is in the back seat looking pained. Davis slows as he nears the car, see everyone in misery.David What's wrong? Josh is looking at Candy, concerned about her as he looks up to David.Josh Sam. She died yesterday while she was at the beach. David How? What happened. Josh looks painfully at Candy who has her heads in her hands crying so deeply that she doesn't look at Josh, but he knows she is listening to him. Josh looks up from her, and mouths to David "Later". Then he nods for David to hurry up and get in. David goes around the back of the car, and Josh gets out to pull the seat forward.David She shouldn't be going to school today. Josh She's not. I'm going to drop you and Tina off there, and then I am going to take her home. David Maybe we should go with? Josh No, she needs some air, and some space. Both the woman seem to be just there in a state of shock.
