Roadside Assistance Scene 26-30 Revised 2/11/00 26. Ext. Outside department store, minutes later. The Dark One in the foreground, as Adam walks out of the store. Adam hurries to his truck. Adam's Pov as he looks at the store's front entrance. He looks off into the middle of the parking lot, under the spike of cars stands a shadow of a man. The man seems to be looking at him. Adam looks away, back to the entrance. Annette comes walking out of the store to her small compact car. Adam starts up his truck As Annette pulls out of the parking lot, Adam follows shortly afterward. END OF SCENE 26 27. Ext. Outside Annette's house, Near Dusk. The light is fading as Annette pulls her car to a stop out in front of her house. Adam pulls his truck to a stop in the foreground, and watches her as she goes into the house. Then he gets out of the truck, and prepares to cross the street. Before he does, he looks both ways, for cars, and for people who might be watching. Either way there is no one watching him. He crosses the road towards Annettes car, acting as though everything was normal, and as though he belongs there, until he gets near her car. Then he hunches down, and starts to run his key along it's side. Then as he reaches the front of the car, towards it's wheel well, he picks up a rock, and sticks it in the tires valve, releasing all of the air. Then he goes back to the back tire, and does the same for it. Then he stands, while starting to move away from the car, walking to his truck as though nothing has happened. Adam Bitch! Adam gets into his truck and pulls away. The camera moves just a little to the left as he pulls away, to reveal the Dark One watching him. END OF SCENE 27 28. Int. Inside Police Station, just before dusk. Officer 1 is hunched down over a log book as Officer 2 walks up behind him. Officer 1 stands away from the log book, to let Officer 2 have access to it. Officer 1 So what are your plans for the night? Officer 2 I don't know, maybe I'll give her a call. It's been a week. Maybe she's cooled down enough to talk to me. They are walk out the front doors. END OF SCENE 28 SCENE 29 29. Ext. Outside Police Station, continious The two officers walk out into the small parking lot, to their cars that are parked next to each other. Officer 1 Have you tried sending flowers? Officer 2 Not yet. Officer 1 You should, it's always gotten me back into the house. Officer 2 I dont' know, she's not really a flower person. Officer 1 is starting to climb into his car. Officer 1 Just remember what I said. Okay. END OF SCENE 29 30. Ext. Outside Adam's Apartment, Dusk The Dark One is in the foreground as adam pulls the truck into the parking lot, and then hurries around the front of the building to get inside. Adam seems a little paranoid, as he casually looks around him more. He looks to the Dark One just as he is opening the door to the apartment building. He seems to stop for a second, and then slowly turns away to go inside. END OF SCENE 30 Scene 31-35
