New Nightmare 2 Scene 1 Int. Heather Leagenkamp's house as is the end Wes Craven's New Nightmare and let the end play as in New Nightmare with her reading the script to her son. "Thanks Heather, for playing Nancy on last time." CUT Int. A low angle shot of Heather with her son and behind her stands Freddy. His claw raised hi, and ready to strike.Freddy "Yeah Heather. Thanks for playing Nancy one last time." CUT TO OPENING CREDITS The credits short with only the title Ext. Open on a sunny beach filled with bleach blondes and a smoggy blue Los Angeles. The camera comes down from a crane shot of the beach to a medium shot of a beatiful blonde haired girl as she sun bathes. She is wearing sunglasses, and her whole persona is that of spoiled richness. Her Name is Samantha. The camera starts to follow some kids playing frisbee, having fun. The camera flys around the beach, back and forth between the threesome of fun. Then the frisbee accidently doesn't get caught by one of the threesome, and it flys over to where Samantha is laying. As soon as it touches her, she jumps up to see what. THen she tosses it away as though it was something of disgust to her.Samantha Watch it! Why don't you just go somewhere else. Kid 1 You don't own the beach. Samantha No....no...no... CUT She comes crashing down onto a cement ground of the boiler room. Her hand smacks hard against a pipe. She lies there motionless. All is quiet except for the small hiss in the background of steaming hissing from some pipes. That as well as her breath. There is a screech as Freddy scratches away on a pipe. CUT Freddy's shadow dissappears behinds some papers.Freddy No one can kill me... They only set me free... Samantha hears all the noise, and Freddy as he speaks. She stands, scared, looking for a way to escape. She Starts to walk her way through. She grabs one pipe, and pulls her hand away quick reacting to burning herself. Freddy's shadow evades the light once again. Close up Samantha's face as she seen him disappear She yells to him scared.Samantha Who are you! Her voice echoes as the camera starts to follow her around a bend of pipes. She is creeping forward, afraid of what might be there. Medium shot of her as she is about to go around the pipes. Freddy's claw slowly reaches up. As it is about to grab her she starts to turn. She turns around to look back where she had just been coming from. Freddy appears behind her.Freddy I'm Freddy! CUT People on the beach running to catch a frisbee. The camera starts to move along with the kids as they run past a couple of kids skipping rope.Roping Kids-chanting 1..2...Freddy's Coming for You The Camera moves past the kids to the girl in the dream. She gives out a blood currdingly scream and she starts to thrash back and forth. In the background the kids continue to chant.Roping Kids 3...4...Better Lock the Door The Kids who were playing Frisbee run to Samantha, past the kids playing jump rope as though they are not even there.Roping Kids 5...6...Grab your Crucifix The Kids gather around the girl as she is faced down. The Kids are trying to pull her over so that she was face up, but she is unmoveable.Roping Kids 7...8...Better Stay up Late The Ropeing Kids stop chanting Freddy's claw(unseen) pierces into the flesh of her back and her blood pools. Her feet. They are apart as she is struggling, but Freddy grabs them(unseen) and pulls them together... A Full shot of Samantha as she is being dragged from her beach chair quickly, leaving a trail of blood. Freddy draggs her along the beach, the camera continuing to look back watching as the more she is dragged the more blood that is left on the sand in their wake. Then Freddy stops. Her feet fall flat to the beach. Close up of her face. It is all raw as the sand had been like sandpaper.Freddy-voiceover 9...10...Freddy won't let you sleep again.
