John Veatch, Co. H. Enl., 8/17/1861. Killed in action, 6/27/1862, during the Seven Days Battles. One record has his name as John C. Veitch.

1st South Carolina Artillery:
E.T. Kemper, Co. I, lt. One record has his name as Koao Tuske Kemper.
Kuscious K. Kemper, 1st lt.
William H. Kemper, 1st lt., Jones' Staff.

11th South Carolina Infantry:
H.F. Veitch, Co. F. Also served in Beaufort's Artillery below.
