Samuel L.J. Veach, Co. A. Enl., 4/2/1862. Promoted to sgt., 7/1/1862. He was reduced in rank to cpl., 9-10/1862,
and to pvt., 11-12/1862. He was paroled, 5/23/1865, at Salisbury.
