7th North Carolina Senior Reserves:
E. Veach, unknown company.

10th North Carolina Heavy Artillery:
Joseph P. Veach, Co. A. Enl., 4/26/1862. Died, 5/15/1862, of disease.
LaFayette M. Veach, Co. A. Enl., 4/26/1862, under the name McKendrie L. Veach. According to another record, he also served in the 22nd Infantry (below).
Samuel L.J. Veach, Co. A. Enl., 4/2/1862. Promoted to sgt., 7/1/1862. He was reduced in rank to cpl., 9-10/1862, and to pvt., 11-12/1862. He was paroled, 5/23/1865, at Salisbury.

14th North Carolina Infantry:
William D. Veach, Co. B.

22nd North Carolina Infantry:
Joseph R.P. Veach, Co. F, 1st Sgt. Enl., 10/1/1861, sgt. He was promoted 3/1864 to 1st sgt. He transferred to the Invalid Corps, 10/26/1864. He participated in Pickett's Charge at Gettysburg.
LaFayette M. Veach, Co. A (Caldwell Rough and Ready Boys).
Calvin Welborn, Co. L. He was promoted to lt., 8/1/1863. He participated in Pickett's Charge at Gettysburg.

38th North Carolina Infantry:
James L. Veach, Co. B.

42nd North Carolina Infantry:
G.M. Veach, Co. D.
J.W. Veach, Co. D.

57th North Carolina Infantry:
William E. Veach, Co. H. One record has his last name as Veatch.
